Rock the Vote…

But please don’t Barack the Vote! Just kidding, kind of. 
Today’s election day and I’ve already given my opinion about who I think is the “better” – and I use that term loosely – person to vote for and why. That’s not what this is about. This is just about voting in general.
If you didn’t vote early, please vote today. I said it before and I’ll say it again: if you don’t participate in our government by voting, then you have no right to complain if you don’t like the outcome. (Actually, if you’re a follower of Jesus, you have no right to complain either way, but I quibble.)
Just please get involved. Vote for the person you think will do a better job. And then walk away from the booth assured that God is still on His throne and that whoever wins the American presidential race was chosen by God for it. Praise God for our new president and may God bless and guide him!

I’m off the vote as soon as my kids get on the bus. I resigned myself to be at peace with in the knowledge that God is in control regardless of who sits in the White House.
